Did you expect to receive the Sparrow Award?
In my 30 years of career as a forest official, I have fought several battles to save the forest cover and especially protect the tiger habitat. Today, I am honoured to know that my work in the field has been noticed and I am a proud recipient of this award.

How do you feel to have received this award?
I felt honoured and happy as I went up to the stage to receive the award on the World Sparrow Day. It feels good to be identified as a Sparrow Hero.
